RSVP by July 15, 2001! June 1, 2001 Dear Classmates: The 1971 Class of Central High
School, Helena-West Helena, Arkansas will celebrate the 30th
anniversary of its graduation with a reunion on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at the
Junior Auxiliary House at the intersection of Springdale Road and School Road in
West Helena. We will meet from 11:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
This date was intentionally chosen to coincide with the 16th
Annual King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, so that all of you who faithfully
attend the Blues Fest will have another reason to return home. We ask that you fill out the
attached information form and mail it, along with a check for $15.00 per person
to the address on the form. The fee
will guarantee you a place to enjoy Armstrong’s Barbeque, snacks, soft drinks,
beer and a chance to get reacquainted and reminisce.
For your convenience a list of area motels and hotels is included on the
reverse side of this letter. Even
if you can’t attend, please send us a short note with your information form so
we can keep track of you. You might
decide to attend the next class reunion! We will have a professional 8x10 group photograph taken at Central High School at 4:00 pm. You can pre-order your group photo on the return info sheet or order it at the reunion. Unfortunately, we have been
unable to locate the persons listed below, so if you know how to reach them
please indicate their whereabouts on the enclosed form and share this
information with them! Also, we
welcome the name of anyone who may have been accidentally omitted.
